Individual Workout: VertiMax Training

Last year, our program purchased a Vertimax training system for the BJU Bruins student athletes. This is the first off-season I’ve really been able to get into using the Vertimax with our basketball players. So far, I’ve seen great results in just a short time.

There is a common misconception that strength training through weight lifting is enough for off-season physical development. However, in order for athletes to increase speed, power and explosiveness, additional training is necessary. That’s where the Vertimax comes in.

The workout below only takes about 20 minutes and is great for building lateral explosiveness and balance. Check it out!
