Prior to the start of each season, we hold an annual boot camp for our team. It has become a tradition to have at least one session of tire workouts at some point during the week. Tire workouts are a great way to add a little variety to your athletes’ strength training routines.

Here is a sample tire workout for your team:

  1. Small Tire Slams
    • 3 sets of 5
    • :30 rest in between sets
  2. Two Hand Push (:20-:30)
  3. One Hand Push (:20-:30)
    • Right handed
    • Left handed
  4. Sledge Hammer
    • 10 right handed
    • 10 left handed
  5. Flips + Jump Throughs (5x)
  6. Flips + Side Jump Throughs (5x)
